Scotland Once Was – Photographic Exhibition

A joint exhibition at Gallery Close in Edinburgh, featuring the photography of Robert Blomfield and Jim Downie.

On display will be some of Robert’s most popular images of Edinburgh.

Jim Downie is a former art director who turned his hand to photography having worked with some of the biggest names in the business. This show includes his series of pictures based around family photographs he found in a shoe box in his Mother’s house.

Gallery-Close is one of Scotland's few commercial photography galleries which represents a number of elite photographers. The gallery is situated in the heart of the historic Georgian New Town in Edinburgh. It exhibits a variety of photographic work and individually themed exhibitions throughout the year.
